Our Mission is to Help Hearts Heal

Through Soul Purpose Yoga, our goal is to give you the tools you need to heal your heart, body, and mind, encouraging a healthy outcome for all.

Meet Mary Licciardi, founder

Mary’s passion for yoga started long before she became an instructor. Having grown up a dancer, she had a dance instructor who started every dance class with yoga’s various breathing methods and postures prior to dance curriculum. This is when Mary started to connect with the basics of yoga, based on meditative breathing alone.

Mary grew up in an unbalanced household, and endured trauma from a very young age. Physical activity helped Mary cope with the trauma in her life. As time unfolded, Mary began to seek meditation as a method of breathing through anxiety and physical pain.

When Mary stopped pursuing the life of dance, yoga became her next true love. Mary received her RYT 200 certification in 2018, knowing that teaching yoga is her calling. She is intent on guiding people through their yogic journey.

Mary respects that your practice is a very personal journey, respecting your time and space on your mat. She teaches without judgment and approaches every student with empathy, knowing that unless you’ve walked in someone’s shoes, you can never fully understand their journey.

Whether you are new to yoga or experienced, Mary’s goal is to give her students the tools they need to heal their hearts, bodies and minds, encouraging a healthy outcome for all.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Mary by email or phone. She is happy to connect with you.

Soul Purpose

Mary is drawn to helping hearts heal no matter a person’s circumstance.

Mary is deeply spiritual and connected to humans and creatures around her. Her goal is to bring wellness and healing to the people she comes in contact with.

In addition to yoga, Mary has been a certified reiki practitioner since 2017. Prior to her certification, she saw a reiki practitioner to remove inflammation from a past surgery. In conjunction with her Western Medicine treatments, Mary is grateful for how well she recovered and hopes to help people on their path to better health.
